Airbnb is seeking a Senior Staff Data Engineer to join our Foundational Data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that power our business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and scalability. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data engineering, with experience in building and optimizing large-scale data systems.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support Airbnb's business needs.,Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.,Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and scalability by implementing best practices and monitoring systems.,Optimize existing data pipelines and systems to improve performance and reduce costs.,Mentor and guide junior team members to help them grow and develop their skills.,Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.,Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the reliability and availability of our data systems.,Work with product and engineering teams to define and implement data-driven features and products.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.,5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building and maintaining large-scale data systems.,Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.,Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Flink.,Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience with cloud-based data services.,Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.,Experience with SQL and relational databases, as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.,Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
